Multi-piece pulley assemblies built from lightweight stamped sheet metal sections and joined by precision riveting — a structurally rigid, cost-effective alternative to single-piece cast or machined V-belt pulleys.
Some V-belt pulley geometries — particularly multi-groove and stepped-diameter designs — are more efficiently built as two or more stamped sheet metal sections joined by rivets than as a single spun or cast piece. Riveting avoids the heat-affected zone and distortion risk of welding, keeps the assembly serviceable in some industrial designs, and holds tight concentricity because each stamped section is dimensionally controlled before assembly.
JBMK stamps each section on our 80–300T press lines, then joins them on dedicated riveting fixtures with in-line runout verification, so the finished assembly meets the same balance and concentricity standard as our single-piece spun and stamped pulleys.
