Progressive Stamping Capability

Stamped Pulleys, Pressed to OEM Dimensional Tolerance

Precision stamped steel pulleys formed on 21 mechanical presses ranging from 80 to 300 tons — the core process behind the majority of JBMK's automotive accessory-drive pulley range.

Progressive stamping press forming a steel pulley blank at JBMK

From Coil to Formed Pulley Blank

Stamping forms a pulley from flat steel coil in a series of press operations — blanking, drawing, piercing, and forming — run in progressive or transfer dies. It's the most economical process for high-volume pulley production, and the one JBMK relies on for the majority of the accessory-drive catalog: water pump, power steering, A/C, and crankshaft pulleys are all stamped before any secondary CNC machining is added.

This page is the capability overview for stamping as a process. If you're evaluating a specific stamped product, see the application-specific pages below — each is engineered and toleranced for its own duty cycle rather than sharing a generic spec.
